In myth; the dragon and the tiger are mortal enemies, neither gaining strength over the other. It is through this ideal of checks and balances that the Yin Yang is the symbol of harmony between heaven and earth, mind and body.


The symbolism behind this idea:

Mike's Hip Hop and Chester's Rock were two different forces at work that not so much as competed, as complemented eachother.

Mike: The White Tiger uses action before it thinks. Like it's musical counter part, Hip Hop is action. It is spoken word that doesn't need to be thought about first. It strikes on its own.

Chester: The Black Dragon thinks before it acts. Rock doesn't just happen the way Hip Hop can. It needs to think about the sound of the riffs and rhythms before it can be acted upon.
